As part of a cultural shift that recognizes the need for human beings to deveop more generative systems of exchange and value, I have decided to perform an experiment in co-creating a purely voluntary system of exchange for bodywork services based off of a spirit of generosity and mutual gratitude between me as as a health care practitioner and you as a client as.
I've developed this concept to experiment with the idea of fluidity and innate abundance, trusting that I am materially supported and valued by those who come to see me in the most resourced way they have available to them. Generosity and abundance take many forms.
1) As gratitude. Showing up to a session with an attitude of exploration and thanks for the intelligence of the body and what it is here to teach both of us is a great gift.
2) As money. I appreciate donations according to free will and financial ability, done in a spirit of genuine appreciation. I have no required or suggested minimum contribution, as each person's financial circumstances and ability are totally individual.
Cash donations will be anyonymous and collected from a big pot twice a month. Credit Card donations can be made online here, after your session or as a means of supporting sessions for those who cannot afford any cash donation whatsoever.
The experiment will only work if I am able to meet my own business expenses. Beyond those, I have a large debt picture that I have taken on in my journey of studying and practicing with amazingly gifted teachers so as to be of service to others. I am completely open to this debt dissolving through donations made by clients in exchange for services that I give. I will experiment with this model for four months time!
3) As Food. I appreciate contributions of healthy and/or home-grown foods and food products as a totally valid form of contribution for bodywork.
5) As Bodywork. I value receiving bodywork from trained professionals, and happily accept it as a form of exchange.
6) As ????. What kind of value exchange can we co-create?
